Advertised Job Summary
The Communications Graphic Designer will work as part of the team responsible for SC TEACHER’s communications brand and the expansion and implementation of communications strategies and policies to support the strategic goals of SC TEACHER. As part of the communications team, this position will have responsibilities spanning research report design; creation of graphics for social media, marketing, and team presentations; and event preparation and setup, along with other opportunities to support overall communications and operations.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong skills with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator and InDesign
  • Ability to apply visual design principles and specific brand guidelines to any project
  • Strong visual communication skills, including presentation creation and brand adherence
  • Experience with project management and/or event coordination
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe illustrator and inDesign
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with web design and HTML
