NC State University is hiring a Communications and Design Manager for the Pappas Real Estate Program. The role involves leading the strategy, development, and execution of communications to enhance the program's visibility and impact, managing its visual identity, and creating engaging digital and print materials. The manager collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to promote the program’s research, events, and initiatives while overseeing communications projects and supervising a social media intern.

Lead brand management and creative design using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to maintain visual identity across web, print, and social media.
Develop and implement a communications strategy across platforms including WordPress, Mailchimp, and social media.
Create and edit compelling content showcasing program initiatives, events, research, and accomplishments.
Coordinate communications for sponsored research projects and manage event marketing, including promotional materials and RSVP tracking.
Supervise a social media intern and manage multiple concurrent communications projects ensuring quality and deadlines.
Required proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress, with experience in Mailchimp and strong writing and editing skills.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design or Communications and 2-5 years of related experience with a strong portfolio.
Preferred experience includes creating research communication materials, event promotion, and supervising interns or team members.
Anticipated hiring salary range: $60,000 - $65,000, commensurate with education and experience.
