Communications Specialist Full Description

Position Summary:       

This role is being created to directly assist and support the school (Revel-CJC) in the provision of teaching for the Graduate Certificate in Jewish Studies that is being developed for the Chinese market and to contribute to the integration of the Chinese cohort with Revel’s existing Jewish Studies programs.

The Communications Specialist will report to the Dean. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the design and leads the implementation of CJC communications strategies, with a focus on Chinese social media platforms and collaborations with education companies in China
  • Develops professional connections within Chinese educational institutions and companies to build sustainable partnerships and expand program outreach
  • Creates and refines promotional literature, such as brochures, newsletters, posters, tailored to the Chinese educational context, enhancing cultural relevance and effectiveness
  • Finalizes and arranges the production of printed materials, ensuring high-quality design and distribution to target audiences

Experience & Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1 - 3 years of communications experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Very high level of proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.

Salary Range:

$27.50- $28.57 per hour
