The Opportunity

Our team is looking for a  detail-oriented and systems-savvy Compensation Systems Analyst to join the Compensation team as a bridge between Compensation and Systems. This role will help execute efficiently and create a seamless experience for all stakeholders, helping to maintain job architecture, salary and equity ranges, compensation tools, and supporting both cyclical and off-cycle compensation processes. A knack for designing, implementing, and automating systems creates a perfect fit, paired with knowledge and experience in Compensation, creates a great fit for the role. 

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Cycles --

  • Support planning, configuration, testing, and auditing for compensation cycles, equity grants, and compensation statements
  • Partner with stakeholders to build compensation cycle timelines and requirements documentation

Compensation Infrastructure & Systems -- 

  • Own the creation, maintenance, and deprecation of job and grade profiles, including salary and equity ranges
  • Maintain and audit key compensation tools and data sources, and automate processes where possible
  • Perform regular grade profile audits to ensure alignment between current employees and system architecture
  • Oversee Workday Core and Advanced Compensation configurations, including job profile updates and compensation plan setup

Global Mobility & Off-Cycle Work --

  • Provide and track compensation adjustments related to international mobility.
  • Ensure data is integrated into comp planning and relevant projects (e.g. monthly stock grants) 

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years in a compensation, HR operations, or total rewards role
  • Strong experience with Workday Core and Advanced Compensation
  • Proficiency with Excel and compensation tools (e.g., Pave, Workday)
  • Familiarity with job architecture and salary/equity range management
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex data sets
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with People Systems and HRBPs
  • Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations. 

Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.

United States: 
Zone 1: $125,000 – $172,000/year (USD)
Zone 2: $112,000- $154,000/year (USD)
