Consumer Insights Researcher, Brand Health Full Description

WGU is hiring a Consumer Insights Researcher (Brand Health) to understand the motivations, barriers, and decision-making patterns of prospective students and other priority audiences, informing brand strategy, messaging, market expansion, and product development as part of WGU's marketing research team.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Design and execute research initiatives using multiple methods, including surveys, interviews, UX research, and secondary data
  • Triangulate insights from varied sources to build holistic stories and strategic recommendations
  • Identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and segmentation opportunities guiding marketing and enrollment strategies
  • Support and occasionally lead research assessing market conditions, competitor positioning, and category trends
  • Work closely with marketing, brand, and communication teams to inform positioning and campaign strategy
  • Transform research findings into compelling narratives using storytelling, data visualization, and business framing
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, research, analytics, social science, or a related field; 2+ years of experience in market research, especially competitive analysis and brand-health consumer insights; and familiarity with research platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or UserTesting is a plus.
Compensation and benefits: The estimated pay range for this position is $82,700-$124,000.
