Nature and Scope of Job
USDM Life Sciences is seeking a Content Creator (within R&D Quality) to partner with Instructional designers, process owners and SMEs to create engaging, effective, and innovative learning materials/assessments that support materials for a regulated industry.
Primary Responsibilities
Create engaging learning experiences that drive learner engagement and improve operational effectiveness.Apply industry-standard instructional design theories, practice, and methods.Use adult learning principles to ensure knowledge transfer.Design and develop appropriate material/media: Instructor-led training (ILT), On-the-job training (OJT), eLearning modules, audio clips, videos, animation, simulations, role play, gamification, and other educational materials to further enhance learning experiences.Work with collaborators on criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments.Support the translation of any content.Collaborate with team members, subject matter experts, and reviewers to meet deadlines and produce high quality work products in accordance with stakeholder requirements.
Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing learning programs for pharmaceutical, biologic, or medical device companies.Experience using instructional design tools to create eLearning content (Articulate 360, RISE, Storyline) Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard learning programs.Experience working in a regulated environment (GxP).Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it.Must be able to effectively work in a collaborative team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
Education & Certifications
BS/BA degree required.Advanced degree or experience in instructional design techniques and adult learning principles highly desired.Instructional Design Certification is desirable but not required.

Compensation
Salary/Hourly Rate Range (W2): USD 45.00 - 60.00The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage. Both full and part-time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan.
