As a Contract Professional Learning Specialist at Brisk Teaching, you'll get to connect with educators across the country, facilitating engaging professional development sessions that help them make the most of Brisk Teaching. This is a unique opportunity to support a fast-growing startup where your work directly impacts educators, students, and long-term customer success.

YOU WILL:
  • Develop expertise in Brisk Teaching and our professional learning offerings, leveraging your teaching background to support educators in implementing Brisk tools effectively into their practice.
  • Lead dynamic online learning experiences for educators, utilizing flexible strategies that respond to the diverse needs of your participants.
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional development opportunities, including training observations, constructive feedback sessions, and coaching opportunities to promote your professional growth.
  • Complete comprehensive training preparation and follow-up protocols, ensuring thorough documentation and record-keeping are completed within established timeframes.

YOU HAVE:
  • Minimum of two years of US-based teaching experience in English language arts, social studies, math, or science in a K-12 grade environment.
  • Availability for 7-10 hours per week, in addition to (15) hours of onboarding during your first two weeks of employment.
  • Experience working in edtech training and professional learning.
  • Strong working knowledge of and experience with best practices in integrating AI tools into instruction.
  • Passion for helping teachers develop confidence and capacity as they navigate today’s dynamic educational landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate impactful professional learning experiences for teachers, including an understanding of how to use adult learning principles to meet session objectives.
  • Proficiency with technology; confidence in navigating a virtual learning experience (i.e. Zoom) and using Google Suite.
