About the Position
The Financial Wellness Center (FWC) is seeking a student-centered Financial Education Specialist to join our dynamic and nationally recognized team. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact student success and well-being through programming efforts, developing financial education programs, marketing and campaign support, and supporting the director with special financial wellness initiatives and projects.

An Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) candidate is preferred.

Responsibilities  | Financial Wellness Programming Support
Collaborate with the director on financial wellness initiatives and programming. Create, edit, and maintain educational materials, including Canvas Course Modules, Educational Workshops, tailored to unique student populations. Ensure content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with learning outcomes. Integrate feedback from staff and peer well-being ambassadors to continuously improve module effectiveness. 
Website and Media Content
Support FWC communications across newsletters, social media, blog, and website platforms. Maintain and update the FWC website using Omni CMS, ensuring content is current, relevant, and well-organized. Oversee website performance tracking and content strategy to enhance user experience and engagement.
Marketing Materials & VisualsDesign and produce marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital graphics using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Ensure visual content aligns with strategic messaging and branding standards. Manage consistency of visual identity across all media formats and outreach channels.
Campaign and Administrative Support
Assist in planning and executing financial wellness campaigns and outreach initiatives. Provide administrative support including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of marketing efforts. Manage promotional materials and ensure consistent branding across platforms.

Minimum Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), and two years related experience required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
