Job Description:
Under the administrative direction of the Assistant Director, the Coordinator will support the success of Mastercard Foundation Scholars and Participants. This role will coordinate activities and functions for the in-person and online components of the Scholars Program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. The primary focus of this position is the coordination, design, and implementation of curriculum and programming across each scholarship track. This includes developing structured learning experiences grounded in the Mastercard Foundation values and aligned with the program's leadership and professional development goals. In addition, the Coordinator monitors Scholar progress through structured evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance tracking to assess impact, ensure milestones are met, and inform continuous program improvement.

Position Salary Range:
  • $54,000 - $59,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties:
  • Coordinate and implement programming across multiple Mastercard Foundation scholarship tracks, including in person and online components, ensuring alignment with program goals, timelines, and funding parameters.
  • Design and develop curriculum and structured learning experiences grounded in Mastercard Foundation values and leadership development objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, orientations, leadership sessions, and professional development programming for Scholars and Participants.
  • Monitor Scholar progress through structured evaluations, data tracking, feedback mechanisms, and regular check ins to assess impact and ensure milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director, program staff, academic units, and campus partners to coordinate program delivery and ensure a cohesive Scholar experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of programming, participation, evaluations, and outcomes; compile and synthesize data to inform reports and continuous program improvement.
  • Ensure program implementation remains aligned with established priorities, compliance standards, and funding specifications.

Working Environment:
  • Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended period of sitting. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer, bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a complex structured team.
  • Normally receives no instructions on routine work and general instructions on new assignments with review of completed tasks.
