General Description  | The Coordinator of Enrollment Management reports to the Director of Enrollment Management. The Coordinator develops, executes, and optimizes multi-channel communications and event strategies that support the full student lifecycle, supporting awareness, engagement, and action across key milestones such as application, registration, onboarding, persistence, retention, and student success. This role advances Enrollment Management priorities by improving student outreach, reducing enrollment barriers, supporting retention-focused initiatives, and generating student-facing events and engagement opportunities.

The Coordinator works extensively within EAB products to manage targeted outreach, maintain communication workflows and outreach calendars, develop segmented communication lists, and support recruitment, enrollment, and returning student engagement initiatives across multiple student populations.

Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities
• Develop and manage enrollment management events and communications that strengthen the student experience across the full student journey, supporting awareness, engagement, and action from initial interest and application through registration, onboarding, first-year milestones, continued enrollment, completion, and student success.

• Provide communications and program management support for first-year and onboarding programming such as New Student Orientation (NSO), welcome events, first-year checkpoints, onboarding tasks, and early-term engagement touchpoints—helping students prepare, attend, and complete required steps for a successful start.

• Support the event planning, promotion, and follow-up communications for admissions related events such as open houses, information sessions, campus tours, registration events, high school visits, and virtual engagement opportunities, with a focus on increasing participation and conversion to next steps.
• Coordinate event communications from start to finish (invites, reminders, confirmations, day-of messaging, and post-event follow-up), including thank-you messages, next-step instructions, appointment prompts, and resource links to improve follow-through and reduce drop-off/melt.

• Write, edit, and produce student-centered messaging that is clear, supportive, and action-oriented, translating complex enrollment and progression next steps into plain language and compelling images to reduce barriers and confusion.

• Develop content across platforms, including email, SMS/text, print materials, web/landing page copy, social content, physical displays, and event-related messaging, ensuring consistency in tone and student-facing clarity.

• Collaborate across Enrollment Management and campus partners (Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, One-Stop Centers, Academic Advising, Marketing/College Relations, etc.) to ensure communications are accurate, consistent, and improve the student experience for both new and returning students.

• Coordinate with Enrollment Management partners to ensure messaging supports strategic priorities such as increasing registrations, improving yield, reducing melt, strengthening retention, and enhancing student engagement.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of enrollment communications related to first year milestones, continued enrollment, and student success and engagement efforts by leveraging data including insights generated from EAB Recruitment Success, Navigate 360 and Edify.

• Maintain and improve communication workflows and outreach calendars in EAB Recruitment Success and EAB Navigate, ensuring outreach is timely, accurate, accessible, and aligned to enrollment milestones and student needs.

• Create and manage audience segments and targeted outreach lists to support distinct communications for new students and returning students, including time-sensitive outreach related to registration, milestone deadlines, and support services.

Education Requirements  | Masters degree required.
Experience 
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, communications, enrollment management, or customer engagement.
• Experience using EAB products to manage communication workflows, segment audiences, develop targeted outreach lists, and support student outreach across enrollment milestones.
• Proven experience writing and producing multi-channel communications (email, text/SMS, print, social media, graphic representations, and event communications).
• Experience creating compelling, student-friendly content, events and visual/graphic materials with attention to brand consistency.
• Experience using data insights and reporting tools (within EAB products and/or similar platforms) to monitor engagement, interpret results, and improve communication effectiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with cross-functional Enrollment Management operations (Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Academic Advising, One-Stop Centers, and Marketing/College Relations).
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple communications and event-related outreach simultaneously across multiple channels.

Strong organization and project coordination skills, including the ability to manage timelines, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information, identify barriers, and support solutions that improve student engagement and enrollment outcomes.

Strong student service mindset with a commitment to student success and a diverse, inclusive student body.

Spanish language preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment 
• This position’s duties are normally performed in a typical interior/residence work environment, based on the activity scheduled.
• Some physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
• Some travel required.

Salary  | $58,000-$60,000

Terms of Employment  | Full Time. Flexible schedule to meet department needs. Some evenings, weekends, and extended hours may be required. Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to all on and off-campus sites as needed by the college. Overtime may be required throughout the year, especially at peak times. Employee must establish primary residency in New Jersey within one year of appointment unless an exemption applies.
