Job Description Summary
The Coordinator of Marketing and Communications is a key member of the Enrollment Management
(EM) team, serving as part of the Marketing and Communications unit. EM comprises the Office of
Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Student Financial Aid, and the Office of the Registrar.
The Coordinator will primarily be responsible for managing all aspects of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA) 's email marketing and social media portfolio, including strategy, design, content creation, distribution, and analysis. They will also assist with maintaining the OUA website.
The Coordinator will work to strengthen and advance EM's mission to support prospective students
and their families with the college application and admission process. The Coordinator will work closely with the Events and Visitor Services unit to promote campus tours and open houses hosted by OUA. The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to communicate complex processes in clear, plain language and will work to establish and maintain effective cross-functional collaboration with EM colleagues.
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items, to walk short distances, and to drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
Preferences:
- Experience with email management and website content management software.
- Familiarity with AP Style.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Knowledge of Craft or Drupal website content management systems.
- Software efficiency with the Adobe suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and Canva

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: One (1) year of professional communications or marketing experience. Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge of marketing. Skill in oral and written communication.Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products. Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service and sensitivity to a culturally and ethnically diverse community.
