Coordinator Service II Full Description

Overview: 
Come work with an amazing team on a beautiful campus with incredible benefits! The Card Office is seeking an employee who will provide direct quality customer service and support to campus. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of the university's customer service desires and be well-trained in campus knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. Responsibilities: 
Customer Service:
  • Provide positive, enthusiastic customer service. Serve as first point of contact to public, faculty, staff and students via Card Office front counter and telephone.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with team and customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Handle customer complaints, providing appropriate alternatives and solutions.
 
Financial:
  • Handle deposits on accounts.
  • Resolve problems with cards and/or account problems.
  • Follow cash handling policy daily.
General Tasks:
  • Work within the USU Card System which includes Aggie Express, Guest Dining Cards, Payroll Deduction, Specialty Cards and Summer Citizens.
  • Produce student/faculty/staff ID Cards, Spouse Cards and specialty cards such as student teaching name tags, and other cards.
  • Support Orientation Program by speaking to students and parents about functions of the USU Card and explain accounts they may activate and use on their cards.
  • Assist with special event promotions and ticket sales.
  • Input meal plans for Dining Services.
  • Answer incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, card problems, service questions, directory information and general customer concerns.
  • Responsible for data entry, data queries, and updating data in all applicable University systems.
  • Explain policies and procedures of ID card, dining service, and housing to students, parents, faculty, staff and other visitors.
  • Maintain printers and equipment, cleaning and keeping machines in working order.
  • Participate in workshops as necessary.
  • Participate in computer classes as necessary to upgrade skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience or an associate degree/vocational training
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word software
  • Working knowledge of Transact system
  • Knowledge of USU's campus
  • Office experience

 Advertised Salary: Minimum $28,720; Commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits ADA:
