About the Role
As a copywriter at O’Reilly, you’ll play an essential role in creating effective messaging that invites people to join our platform and engage with our wider content—and more importantly, explains how they benefit from those experiences. You’ll work with internal clients to first understand their challenges, then craft executions that motivate desired audience interactions at every level of the marketing funnel. As part of a fully remote team with members across the US, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where juggling deadlines, managing change, and making clients happy are all part of a good day’s work.
Salary Range: $70,000–$88,000
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate as part of a fully remote, highly connected team that spans multiple US time zones
- Thrive in a dynamic environment by managing multiple priorities with agility and focus
- Deliver engaging, high-quality editorial work that drives results and strengthens brand perception
- Consistently apply and champion our brand voice guidelines across a wide range of content
- Take ownership of, or contribute to, the creation and production of a variety of content, including:
- Sales enablement tools
- Customer-facing emails
- Presentations
- Landing pages
- Websites
- Banner ads
- Book covers
What You’ll Have
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, or a related field
- 2–5 years of copywriting experience in a fast-paced marketing organization or advertising agency
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong command of grammar and language usage
- Meticulous attention to detail in all written content
- Passion for storytelling and creating engaging narratives
- Ability to adapt writing style to align with different brand voices and marketing objectives
- Collaborative attitude with a results-driven mindset focused on delivering high-quality outcomes
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
