Job Summary
 
Enrollment Management at Purdue University is seeking a driven and proactive seasoned professional contributor to serve as a CRM Analyst within the Office of Enrollment Management Strategic Communications and Initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director of Enrollment Systems, this role supports and coordinates the expanding university Slate ecosystem—now extending beyond recruitment to include current student and financial aid instances—by coordinating data integration and alignment with the university’s SIS, Banner. The CRM Analyst will focus on CRM data intake, analysis, SIS integration, reporting infrastructure, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented data flows between systems such as Slate, Banner, and Tableau. This position plays a critical bridging role between Enrollment Management and IT, supporting automation, term transitions, current-student management and financial aid workflows while strengthening long-term operational sustainability.
 
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $64,800 to $75,000. The final salary offer will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, available budget, and relevant experience.
 
This position can be either hybrid or completely remote
 
System Integration & Data Flow:
  • Monitor and coordinate automated data syncs between Slate and Banner (Recruitment- Admissions, DFA; Current student – DFA, Registrar).
  • Coordinate, continuously analyze, and intervene on all Banner functions related to the Enrollment management Slate CRM and other related systems.
  • Serve as lead liaison between Slate, Banner, and data/reporting teams.
  • Partner with IT to ensure synchronized, accurate, and real-time data flows.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate improvements with IT and institutional data teams.
  • Run validation checks on daily data feeds and flag inconsistencies to ensure system functionality
  • Coordinate with IT or Enrollment Systems to improve import/export processes and troubleshoot issues.
  •  Review integration logs and proactively identify errors or delays.
  • Maintain Slate instances CRM source formats, SFTP connections, APIs, etc.
 
CRM Configuration & Maintenance (Slate):
  • Update workflows, automations, and rules tied to student status or communication triggers.
  • Implement CRM features (e.g., deliver-based logic, user roles, stages), updates, or additions, to streamline operations.
  • Configure custom fields or datasets needed for new initiatives (e.g., DFA scholarship codes). 
  • Participate in project planning and testing for new functionality (e.g., time tickets, term transitions, aid processing).
 
Reporting & Data Preparation:
  • Build and update custom queries in Slate to extract targeted student data.
  •  Design, execute, and maintain complex CRM reports and data exports.
  • Maintain a library of scheduled reports for key stakeholders (admissions, scholarships, current student/Registrar).
  • Audit report outputs for completeness and accuracy.
  • Update Slate data exports used by IDA+A, DFA, or advising teams.
  • Collaborate with IDA+A, where appropriate, for data warehouse/storage.

Qualified candidates will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in managing a university CRM (Slate preferred) and Student information system (Banner preferred). 
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to think strategically and implement new processes, concepts, or office efficiencies, leveraging Technolutions Slate.
