Position Summary Information
Primary Purpose
The CRP Manager will assist the Director with developing, evaluating, coordinating all vocational services provided by the Community Re-Entry Program for San Joaquin County Mental Health consumers working within the community.

Position has identified one-year funding. Continuation of this position is based on availability of funds.
Essential Functions
  • Responsible for onboarding, training and scheduling of employees and interns.
  • Provides support in reviewing and approving clinical documentation of employees and interns, including follow up training as needed.
  • Provide direct supervision of employees and interns assigned as direct reports to this position.
  • Assign tasks and monitor work to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Coach and mentor staff. Address performance issues promptly and constructively.
  • Ensure team provides excellent service to customers/clients.
  • Monitor referrals, service delivery and clinical progress of cases assigned to this position.
  • Participate in interagency meetings and trainings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Education or related fields.
  • Two (2) years work experience in Human Services.
  • One (1) year experience working with special needs population.

  • One (1) year experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills when supervising and providing feedback to staff and clients.
  • Strong skills in clearly articulating performance roles, project goals and timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability in effective time management; managing deadlines and tasks for themselves and direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to form positive relationships with clients.
  • Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
  • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Work is performed during standard hours; Additional hours may be required to meet business needs or deadlines.

Valid driver’s license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University’s fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.

Hiring Range $26.63 - $35.29 (We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.)
