We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to drive growth from our existing client base through high-impact, data-driven campaigns. This role will lead the development and execution of upsell, cross-sell, and retention strategies that support our Compliance Management suite and broader portfolio. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to deliver personalized experiences that increase customer value and engagement. This is a strategic, collaborative role for a marketer who thrives on connecting insights to revenue impact.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Understand the Relias customer base and voice of customer to inform messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies. 
  • Own the development and execution of customer marketing strategies aligned to company growth priorities, including product expansion, renewals, and strategic upsell initiatives. 
  • Plan, execute, and analyze customer marketing programs for owned product lines through a variety of channels, including but not limited to emails, webinars, direct mail, events, and ABM tactics focused on upsell and cross-sell growth.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Customer Success and Sales teams to identify growth opportunities and influence account expansion plans.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign performance related to expansion and retention, using data-driven insights to recommend strategic optimizations and guide future efforts. Establish and grow strong relationships across Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Client Care, and other teams across the organization to ensure campaigns reflect product priorities, customer needs, and timely market opportunities.
 
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
  • Possess a growth mindset, seeing opportunities and solutions when presented with challenges.
  • Ability to confidently present strategies, performance metrics, and recommendations to marketing and revenue leadership.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills - comfortable working with customers, Client Success, and Sales teams
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple programs and timelines
  • Proven ability to connect marketing programs with revenue growth, customer health, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions, including testing new channels to drive impact
  • Curious, life-long learner with the ability to quickly digest new information and ask clarifying questions 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and get things done.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand generation, lifecycle marketing, or customer engagement roles with demonstrated success owning customer growth strategies.
  • Experience with customer segmentation and journey mapping.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment, healthcare and/or B2B experience.
  • Experience driving alignment across departments and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven track record of building and executing upsell, cross-sell, and retention customer campaigns. 
  • Familiarity using martech solutions in a B2B environment such as Salesforce, Pardot, PowerBI, Instapage, Jira, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or other related field.
 
 IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
  • Experience running customer events (in-person, virtual, and/or hybrid) or roundtables. 
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms like Demandbase or 6sense.
  • Familiarity with gifting platforms like Postal.

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30 days/quarter.
