Highlights

Required software skills include proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), log analysis, SIEM query writing, and network protocol analysis.
Compensation is $20 per hour.
Must be a UF student assistant eligible to work on campus with a minimum 2.0 GPA and at least 18 years old.
Preferred qualifications include coursework in security-related fields, cybersecurity certifications or training, IT/cybersecurity internship or lab experience, participation in cybersecurity competitions, and strong communication and analytical skills.
Work involves supporting cybersecurity efforts for both the University of Florida and the State of Florida's Department of Management Services.
