The Data Analyst will support quantitative research projects by acquiring, processing, and analyzing multi-level longitudinal datasets related to substance use and mental health, while also contributing to data visualization, quality assurance, and research publications.

  • Conduct data acquisition, coding, cleaning, and linkage of multi-level longitudinal datasets.
  • Perform quantitative multivariate analyses using survey methodology, multi-level regression, longitudinal, and spatial methods.
  • Create figures, tables, slides, data management reports, and conference materials.
  • Use analytical tools such as R, GIS, SQL, and Stata for data manipulation, visualization, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Design and implement data verification audits and support data quality assurance processes.
  • Contribute to research manuscripts, grant applications, and prepare abstracts and methods sections.
  • Participate in testing, migration, and implementation of new software.
  • Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analysis, or related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, with possible substitution of experience for education.
  • Experience with large data structures, research data warehouses, HIPAA and human subjects regulations, and proficiency in R, SQL, and data visualization tools is essential.
  • Salary range: $74,332 to $106,121, with benefits including medical, dental, retirement plans, and educational benefits.
