Our research program seeks an experienced data analyst with specialized bioinformatics expertise to support active research projects involving DNA methylation, RNA sequencing, and spatial genomics. The analyst will be responsible for processing and interpreting high-dimensional datasets using established and emerging tools. This position is essential to the success of multiple funded projects and will play a critical role in enabling future grant applications and publications. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and experienced with bioinformatics pipeline and data integration in a biomedical research setting.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, data science, or a related scientific discipline.

Three to five years of experience in research data analysis, including experience with omics datasets and integration of multiscale data sets.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as R or Python for data processing and statistical analysis, as well as interaction with HPC.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desirable Qualifications
Additional formal training or certification in bioinformatics, statistics, or data science.

Hands-on experience processing DNA methylation array data, RNAseq, or spatial biology/transcriptomics datasets.

Familiarity with tools for multi-omic integration and data visualization.

Prior contributions to manuscripts or grant applications.

Experience in academic or biomedical research settings.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.
Anticipated Pay Range $75,000-$82,000
