Advertised Job Summary  | The University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health invites applications for one full-time staff biostatistician position in the Research Design, Compliance, and Data Management Core (RDCD) of the Center for Clinical & Translational Research at the University of South Carolina (CLINTRUSC). The primary goal of the RDCD core is to provide the infrastructure and expertise necessary for high-quality, innovative C&T research within the South Carolina (SC) CLINTRUSC research network. We seek a talented and dedicated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials  |
Preferred Qualifications  | Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field (e.g., public health, data science, or quantitative economics/psychology/Education)

Expertise with electronic health data is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, or Python, and a strong understanding of statistical methodologies and their application in research. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
