As we continue to strengthen our Data & Analytics capabilities, we are hiring two Data Engineer - IICS/ Informatica, Databricks who will play a critical role in enhancing our business intelligence and data services ecosystem based remotely in India.
This role will support financial, product, customer, user, and third-party data initiatives while ensuring our data platform operates with efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize modern data solutions that power actionable insights across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across the education domain.
You will also play a key role in monitoring and improving the performance of our cloud-based data platforms, ensuring robust, reliable, and high-performing analytics environments.
What will you be doing?

- Work extensively with financial and operational data (Oracle ERP, Oracle DB) and implement strong data modeling practices including SCD, fact/dimension, and star schema designs
- Architect modern cloud-based data platforms leveraging OCI, AWS, and other cloud technologies
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver high-quality end-to-end solutions
- Create UNIX shell scripts to support Informatica workflows and perform housekeeping tasks
- Ensure platform stability by meeting daily runbook SLAs and maintaining solution efficiency
- Collaborate within Agile/Kanban environments using tools such as GIT and Jira
- Create detailed solution design documentation and provide technical guidance across the SDLC
We are looking for someone having:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong expertise in data warehousing and modern data lake architectures
- Hands-on experience with Informatica/IICS, Oracle DB, Oracle packages, Databricks, and AWS services (Athena with Iceberg, Lambda, EMR, Glue)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL queries
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or Node.js
- 1+ years of Unix shell scripting experience
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure for data technologies
- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and integration design
