As a Data Implementation Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering that mission by transforming complex data into actionable insights across our flagship platforms, GrantsConnect and CSRconnect. You’ll be the technical backbone of client implementations, ensuring data integrity, seamless migrations, and scalable solutions that help our customers accelerate their social good initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support data migration, transformation, and integration throughout client implementation lifecycles.
  • Use Power BI and Power Query to update, transform, and maintain data files, ensuring seamless integration into client workflows.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to validate accuracy, consistency, and alignment with platform specifications.
  • Map and transform data from legacy systems to GrantsConnect and CSRconnect, ensuring fidelity and completeness.
  • Proactively troubleshoot data-related issues, delivering timely and effective solutions.
  • Document data processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across implementation practices.
  • Develop and refine best practices tailored to each data environment and customer vertical to drive future implementation efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned implementations, engaging directly with clients to support their data needs.
  • Perform advanced technical analysis and provide strategic recommendations in areas requiring deep data expertise.
  • Support testing and validation of data throughout implementation phases to ensure quality and readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Data Hygiene & Quality Assurance
    Skilled in identifying and resolving data integrity issues such as duplicates, misused fields, and inconsistent formatting. Familiarity with persistent key data and merge processing is a plus.
  • Data Migration Expertise
    Proficient in analyzing source data and mapping to target schemas, ensuring accurate field alignment and preservation of historical data. Experienced in validating migrated data for completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Platform-Agnostic SaaS Experience
    Strong understanding of SaaS data structures and implementation workflows, with the ability to adapt to diverse customer systems and configurations.
  • Technical Skills
    Skilled in writing and optimizing queries for large datasets, building dashboards, and transforming data for reporting and analysis. Solid grasp of ETL workflows and familiarity with generative and agentic AI tools for data analysis, automation, and documentation.
  • Client-Facing Communication
    Comfortable serving as the technical lead during implementations. Able to guide clients through data preparation and onboarding with clear, empathetic communication—especially with stakeholders who have limited technical backgrounds.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Proven experience working in matrixed environments, managing through influence across departments and levels to achieve shared goals.
  • Process Improvement
    Adept at documenting data workflows and contributing to the ongoing refinement of migration processes and implementation methodologies.
  • Critical Thinking & Innovation
    Demonstrates the ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize diverse information, and make sound, data-informed decisions. Applies creative thinking to develop innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, strategic growth, and social impact.
