I. JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description Summary: | The George Washington University’s Advancement Department is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Data Integrity Analyst to lead critical data quality initiatives during and after our transition to Ellucian CRM Advance. This role will be instrumental in preparing our legacy data for migration, executing large-scale data cleanup projects, and establishing sustainable practices to ensure long-term data health and usability.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Go-Live (CRM Advance Conversion Preparation)Lead and coordinate comprehensive data cleanup initiatives to prepare legacy data for migration. Collaborate with IT, Advancement Services, and external vendors to define data mapping, transformation, and validation rules. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and outdated records across multiple systems. Develop and document data quality standards and procedures to guide the conversion process.
Post-Go-Live (Ongoing Data Integrity Management)Monitor and maintain the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data in CRM Advance. Design and implement a Data Health Scorecard to measure and report on data quality and completeness across key data domains (e.g., constituent records, giving history, contact information). Establish automated and manual data validation processes to proactively identify and correct data issues. Partner with Advancement teams to promote data stewardship and ensure adherence to data governance policies. Provide training and support to staff on data entry best practices and data quality tools.

Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: | Demonstrated experience with data cleanup, migration, and quality assurance in CRM systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization/reporting tools. Experience with Ellucian CRM Advance or similar advancement CRMs. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data stewardship practices. Experience developing data quality metrics and dashboards.
Hiring Range | $52,385.57 - $87,951.37
