Department: Global Hospitality Leadership
Salary: 18.32 - 20.60
Description: Manages the administrative, financial and human resources operations of a department.

1. Evaluates, authorizes and monitors budgetary, payroll and personnel expenditures on departmental operating and research accounts.
2. Administers daily office operations, including the coordination and supervision of staff members.
3. Monitors all financial accounts for the department, including the staff's reconciliation of financial and payroll reports, evaluation of discrepancies, and tracking of expenditures.
4. Manages and provides oversight of the maintenance of departmental database for all expenditures, personnel and payroll records.
5. Oversees the preparation of and authorizes expenditures on all department expenditure documents and eForms, including ePARs, position requests, etc.
6. Participates in the preparation of staff evaluations and performance appraisals.
7. Monitors procedures for the compilation of reports in compliance with applicable university policies and procedures.
8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
