Job Summary  | The Departmental Secretary I position in Computer Science is responsible for providing secretarial support to the department through a variety of routine office clerical duties such as preparation of documents, scheduling appointments, directing calls, recording meetings, maintaining calendar of events, opening and distributing incoming mail, keeping files and records for the department, assisting students, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications  | 1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Outlook Calendar
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Excellent organizational skills
5. Ability to work individually and with diverse groups of administrators, faculty and staff
6. A willingness to complete ongoing training to carry out a variety of job functions
