Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary | The Desktop Support Assistant position is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, deploying, and maintaining computers, printers, and other technologies on the Orange campus. This position works closely with the Desktop Support team on day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities | Create, update, and resolve tickets in our ITSM, Jira Service Management. Assist the Desktop Support team with computer imaging, configuration, and deployments. Assist staff and faculty with printer setup, installation, and troubleshooting. Assist with software installation and troubleshooting. Assist with computer equipment moves around campus. Maintain computers (Mac and PC) in the labs, classrooms, and public access areas to ensure they are up-to-date. Deliver peripherals and other technology equipment to campus.
Required Qualifications | Little to minimal prior experience.
Desired Qualifications | Candidates should have some knowledge or experience in these areas:
• Windows 11
• Mac OS
• Basic networking principles
• Microsoft Office 365
• Customer Service
• Time Management
