Digital Learning and Operations Designer
OccuPros is hiring a Digital Learning and Operations Designer to architect and build the digital infrastructure that powers our client experience and learning operations. This role focuses on the design and implementation of client portals, digital deliverables automation, training management systems, and the evolution of the OccuPros Safety Academy learning platform. The selected candidate will leverage a hybrid Zoho One Enterprise and WordPress technical stack, augmented by heavy AI tool use, to accelerate build velocity and quality.
This is a fully remote, part-time, build-focused position. The role is backend-oriented with no direct client-facing voice work. The Designer will collaborate with OccuPros leadership and the broader operational team to deliver scalable digital systems that support OccuPros’ nationwide service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities are organized by build priority. The first 6 months are focused entirely on building, with priority weighted toward client-facing infrastructure first.
1. Client Portal Development (Highest Priority)
- Architect and build secure, branded client portals using a hybrid Zoho One and WordPress technical stack
- Enable client self-service access to training records, certifications, safety programs, deliverables, and quotes
- Design intuitive, mobile-responsive user experiences aligned with OccuPros brand standards
- Implement role-based access control, multi-tenant architecture, and secure authentication
- Integrate Zoho CRM as the back-end data layer with the WordPress front-end client experience
2. E-Delivery Transformation
- Transition manual document delivery to fully digital workflows across all client deliverables
- Build automation pipelines for digital certificates, wallet cards, training documentation, quotes, and safety programs
- Implement Zoho Sign and related document automation for digital execution and audit trail
- Establish compliance reporting and audit-ready record-keeping across all e-delivery flows
3. Training Management System (TMS)
- Build a TMS to support roster management, scheduling, instructor coordination, and OSHA Outreach card workflows
- Connect TMS to Zoho CRM and WordPress portals for unified data and client visibility
- Automate training operations workflows across the eight service lines
4. Learning Management System (LMS) Evolution
- Evolve the OccuPros Safety Academy LMS with student tracking, certificate issuance, dashboards, and compliance reporting
- Migrate or rebuild courses on optimized platform architecture across the 184-course catalog spanning 19 categories
- Ensure SCORM or xAPI compatibility, OSHA-aligned course delivery, and regulatory standards
5. Course Authoring
- Author online learning programs using a hybrid AI-assisted plus professional authoring tool workflow
- Use Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or iSpring for finalized course production
- Convert existing materials and standard operating procedures into engaging learning modules
- Maintain instructional design quality and adult learning best practices
6. AI-Augmented Workflow Development
- Leverage Claude, ChatGPT, and Custom GPTs to accelerate build velocity across all priorities
- Build AI-assisted automation across the OccuPros technology stack
- Document AI workflows and prompt libraries for ongoing organizational adoption
Required Qualifications
OccuPros welcomes candidates at all experience levels who can demonstrate the required skills through certifications, portfolio work, or work history.
- 1+ year of relevant experience OR equivalent industry certifications combined with demonstrated portfolio work
- Hands-on experience with Zoho One Enterprise applications such as Zoho Creator, Zoho Portals, Zoho Forms, Zoho CRM, or Zoho Sign
- WordPress development experience including LearnDash, MemberPress, BuddyBoss, or comparable LMS or membership platforms
- Course authoring experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, or comparable tools
- Demonstrated daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Custom GPTs in professional work
- Strong portfolio or work samples demonstrating learning system, portal, or automation builds
- Reliable high-speed internet, modern computer, and quiet remote work environment
- Excellent written communication and ability to document architectural decisions clearly
Preferred Qualifications
- Zoho Certified Developer or Zoho Certified Administrator credentials
- ATD APTD, ATD CPLP, or comparable instructional design or learning technology certifications
- Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or iSpring vendor certifications
- LearnDash, MemberPress, or BuddyBoss certifications
- SiteGround server administration experience
- Brevo or comparable email marketing platform experience
- Familiarity with EHS, safety, regulated industries, or compliance training workflows
- Bilingual English and Spanish
