The Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) is a partnership between Brightpoint and Reynolds Community Colleges that delivers comprehensive workforce development services to the Greater Richmond region, supporting economic growth through high-quality training, consulting, and industry expertise for businesses and individuals.

Position Summary
The Digital Media & Design Assistant supports CCWA’s marketing efforts by creating engaging photo, video, and graphic content for campaigns, events, and digital platforms. This role blends creative design, digital storytelling, and hands-on media production to enhance CCWA’s brand visibility and highlight students, employers, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
Capture, edit, and produce photo and video content for events, classes, and marketing initiatives. Design digital and print materials such as flyers, social media graphics, and website visuals. Assist with the development and execution of monthly content calendars and social media campaigns. Organize and maintain photo, video, and design asset libraries. Collaborate with staff to identify and tell stories that showcase CCWA programs, students, employers, and partners. Ensure all creative materials align with CCWA brand standards and messaging. Provide general marketing and communications support as assigned.

Special Assignments  | May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications  | Knowledge of digital media, branding, and basic marketing principles. Experience in creating and editing photo, video, and graphic content using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience in producing short-form video and visual content for social media platforms. Ability to manage multiple projects, organize digital assets, and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with staff, and apply brand standards consistently.

Additional Considerations  | Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom). Experience producing short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
