Job Summary
The Dimensions Instructional Designer II analyzes, designs and develops learning strategies to support a remarkable patient experience using a wide range of learning formats, including instructor led, distance and computer-based education. The Dimensions Instructional Designer II analyzes education needs and develops blended learning solutions for the assigned application(s). Master EPIC application(s) and organization specific workflows for their specific application area. Build, test, and maintain the training environment for their application(s) area(s), including practice exercises.

Qualifications

Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience: Minimum three years of experience in healthcare, training, or education, required.
Licensure/Certification:
- Must obtain Epic certification(s) AFTER employment, must obtain each Epic certification(s) initially assigned within 6 months, required.
- Training Environment Proficiency. Obtain AFTER employment, must obtain within 6 months, required.
Additional Skills (required):
- Communication: Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity to promote creative problem solving. Communicates the value of activities within the organization and community to gain cooperation and collaborative partnership.
- Customer Service: Holds staff accountable for customer service standards and ensures service recovery when needed. Ensures staff responds to customers in a timely manner.
