Job Summary 
The Director of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs position is responsible for directing all applications, verification, awarding, and quality control functions; coordinating a centralized student financial aid office to provide assistance to students system wide; managing daily operations of all financial aid related activities concerning students and veterans; compliance with federal regulations; developing office policies and procedures; enhancing quality standards; acting as a liaison with other offices on campus; providing strong leadership, guidance, and training to team of assistant directors and staff involved in the coordination and management of various financial aid tasks and programs including NCAA and veterans benefits; and performing other related duties as assigned by the Associate Vice Chancellor for financial aid.

The Financial Aid Office experiences annual updates from the Department of Education and requires diligence from every level.
Minimum Qualifications  | 1. Bachelor’s degree in a related area
2. Minimum of five years of progressive experience working in Financial Aid, delivery of Title IV aid, and veterans benefit programs
3. Strong organizational skills
4. Experience working with NCAA regulations
5. Ability to work with a diverse student population
