Job Summary The Director, Enrollment Technology serves as the technical lead for the Offices of Admissions and Enrollment Operations, with responsibility for supervising team leads of various admissions-related enterprise systems and developing and maintaining middleware solutions. This position also serves as the Salesforce Education Cloud CRM technical lead, overseeing post-implementation improvements and add-ons, and delegating tasks to staff as appropriate.
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.
Preferred Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business information systems, or a related technical field, and five to seven years of increasingly technical work experience At least two years of supervisory experience managing information resources staff with ability to mentor less experienced team members across a wide variety of technical positions and knowledge levels Experience with Salesforce development, implementation, and security with demonstrated progressive skills via Salesforce Trailhead or related continuing education Experience with multiple Salesforce “Clouds,” e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or Education Cloud Experience with middleware solutions such as Informatica, Boomi, or MuleSoft Experience with server administration and maintenance, especially Windows Experience with AI systems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | Lead the Enrollment Technology Team for the Offices of Admissions and Enrollment Operations, including the technical developer and analyst staff responsible for developing and implementing marketing, admissions, prospect data management, reporting, and enterprise system integration solutions. Directly oversee and actively participate in implementing and integrating Salesforce Education Cloud feature enhancements in areas including marketing, applications, and admission. Assist in the high-level management and supervision of enterprise solutions including but not limited to PeopleSoft Student Information System and Hyland OnBase ECM System. Assist in the high-level management, supervision, and troubleshooting of internal DataMart (EMDM) solution as well as queries, data reports, and other technical functions. Manage need assessments, requirements analysis, project prioritization, and technology consultation with University stakeholders across academic and administrative units; meet regularly with stakeholders to prioritize and implement needed upgrades and determine and implement future needs. Research development and integration of future Enrollment Technology strategies, vendor solutions, and automation tools. Maintain strong relationships with Office of Admissions and Enrollment Operations management to further technological goals. Provide supervision and professional mentoring for Enrollment Technology staff, identify training needs, and encourage professional growth in technical skills and business acumen of direct reports.
