Highlights
  • Provide strategic financial oversight including planning, budgeting, reconciliation, and stewardship of funds.
  • Manage departmental and programmatic HR/personnel functions and facilities management.
  • Oversee undergraduate and graduate academic program administration for area centers.
  • Collaborate with faculty committees, center staff, and Dean’s Office on space planning, safety, security, and IT services.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and possess advanced accounting and financial management skills.
  • Support transactional and administrative tasks during staff changes, system implementations, and special projects.
  • Required software and systems include Microsoft Office, Oracle, Discoverer/Tableau, SciQuest, HCM, RAPPS, ECRT, SIRS, BLUE, CSS, Degree Navigator, DICES, Sakai, Joomla, and other online tools.
  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and at least five years of financial/operations experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Salary range: $94,492 to $144,715, dependent on qualifications and experience.
  • Serves multiple academic units including Centers for African Studies, Chinese Studies, Cognitive Science, European Studies, and others within the SBS Division.
