This role is Remote

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Global Events to join our team. This key role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of all major corporate events, including Spark, our premier global conference, and key tradeshows across tier 1 markets in North America, EMEA, and APAC. The Director, Global Events will lead a team of five talented event managers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, high-impact events that align with Cornerstone's brand and business objectives.

In this role you will…
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five event managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global events strategy that supports Cornerstone’s marketing and business goals.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and logistics of all major corporate events, including the flagship global conference, ensuring seamless delivery and memorable experiences.
  • Manage key tradeshows in tier 1 markets, ensuring strategic presence and maximum impact in North America, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and executive leadership, to align event objectives with business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and other event-related service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions and exceptional service.
  • Monitor and analyze event performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to innovate and enhance Cornerstone’s event offerings.

You have what it takes if you have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in event management, with a focus on large-scale corporate events and tradeshows.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team of event professionals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a global environment with knowledge of regional event practices in North America, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Strong desire for background in HR or Learning

Total Rewards:
At Cornerstone, our transparent total rewards program is based on three core tenets: equitable pay, market dynamic research, and skill-based appraisal.
The base salary range for this position is: $146200 - $233900 USD

In addition to competitive base pay, the compensation package for this role may include other incentives like bonus or commission, along with a generous benefits package. Additional base pay may be available if you reside in a high-cost metro area (New York City or San Francisco Bay Area).

This range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
