Director, Global GTM Enablement Full Description

Articulate is seeking a strategic enablement leader to own and evolve our growing function into a unified Revenue Enablement engine that drives performance across the full go-to-market revenue cycle. 

Reporting to the VP of GTM Effectiveness, this high-impact role is responsible for building learner-centric, business-aligned programs that empower global Sales, Customer Success, Channel, and Marketing teams. You will define the strategy, unify cross-functional workstreams, and ensure go-to-market teams are confident, capable, and aligned to deliver on growth targets.

You will lead and scale a high-performing, multi-layered team of enablement professionals who currently support Sales, CS, and Channel. You will focus on optimizing our global strategy and shaping how go-to-market teams learn, grow, and drive impact across the customer journey.

What you'll do:
  • Enablement Strategy & Program Design
  • Own and evolve a unified enablement strategy across onboarding, role-based development, launch readiness, and continuous learning.
  • Drive the creation of modular, learner-centric programs that align to Sales, CS, Partner, and Marketing roles and support full-funnel GTM performance.
  • Define the strategic framework for readiness, skills development, and certification across GTM teams, grounded in adult learning and instructional design principles.
  • Establish performance-based learning standards with defined objectives, assessments, and business outcome metrics.
  • Set the vision and structure for sales readiness across prospecting, discovery, demos, objection handling, and pipeline conversion.
  • Shape post-sale enablement through retention and expansion playbooks aligned to renewal, upsell, and customer health outcomes.
  • Own the strategy for partner and reseller enablement, including onboarding, certification, and international readiness.
  • Guide enablement planning and content activation in support of major product and go-to-market launches.
  • Learning Systems & Performance Infrastructure
  • Own and evolve scalable learning systems, including LMS platforms, content workflows, enablement calendars, and localization infrastructure.
  • Define and operationalize performance metrics and feedback loops to measure enablement impact on ramp time, content usage, pipeline conversion, attach rate, and retention.
  • Set strategy for digital-first program delivery using Articulate and other tools to enable scalable, high-impact learning across global teams.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & GTM Readiness
  • Translate and operationalize company priorities into structured enablement roadmaps with clear ownership and measurable business impact.
  • Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and global GTM leaders to align enablement to growth objectives.
  • Partner with Revenue, Product, Marketing, GTM Ops, and GTM Strategy & Analytics to align programs to business goals and field execution.
  • Support and influence GTM leaders in skill development, product knowledge, and strategic initiatives across all stages of the funnel.
  • Represent and advocate for Enablement in strategic forums including QBRs, business reviews, launch planning, and GTM planning sessions.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead, scale, and develop a multi-layered, high-performing team of enablement professionals aligned to GTM functions.
  • Build scalable structures and expectations across enablement workstreams, ensuring accountability, cross-functional alignment, and measurable outcomes.
  • Guide regional enablement resources to ensure global consistency and program scalability across markets.

What you should have:
  • 12+ years of experience in GTM or Revenue Enablement, Enablement Operations, Learning & Development, or related fields, with a track record of owning and scaling global enablement strategies.
  • 5+ years of experience leading enablement teams, including hiring, developing, and managing global or functionally aligned teams with people leaders as direct reports.
  • Experience leading enablement in high-growth SaaS organizations at a stage where global scale, strategic alignment, and measurable GTM impact are critical to success.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design models, and behavior change principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate GTM objectives into scalable learning experiences and performance-based certifications.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to haves:
  • Experience building role-based competency frameworks and multi-stage learning paths across the GTM lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with performance-based assessments, coaching frameworks, and certification scoring.
  • Experience managing content localization, global delivery, and inclusive enablement strategies.
  • Experience supporting hybrid GTM models that include both Sales-led and Product-led Growth (PLG) motions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Articulate, Highspot, MindTickle, or Lessonly.

The pay range for this position is $163,900 to $245,900  for all U.S. locations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amounts we believe in good faith, at the time of this posting, are appropriate for this role. Actual compensation may vary, subject to future adjustment as needed. Articulate considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
