Director, Initiative in Advanced Women's Torah Study Full Description

Position Summary:     | Yeshiva University seeks a full-time Director to lead a new initiative dedicated to advanced Torah study for women. Reporting to the university’s Provost’s Office, the Director will shape the initiative’s vision and programs, mentor students, oversee staff and administration, and engage with the broader Jewish community; the director may also teach Jewish Studies courses at Stern College and in other schools/units as appropriate.This appointment is supported by external grant funds and is therefore contingent upon the continued availability of such funds.

Experience & Educational Background: | Advanced degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Jewish Studies, Education, or related field; ABD will be consideredAt least 10 years of leadership experience in education, nonprofit, or Jewish communal settingsDemonstrated excellence in Torah scholarship, teaching, writing, and mentorshipExpertise in program development, staff supervision, mentorship, and community outreachFamiliarity with Orthodox Jewish communities and the landscape of women’s Torah education
