The opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President of Compliance, you will provide strategic leadership, planning, and oversight for the institution's accessibility initiatives, coordinating compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and related federal and state regulations. This includes designation as the University's ADA and 504 Coordinator and related responsibility to foster digital and physical accessibility compliance initiatives across the university in support of the University's federated compliance program. You will develop and lead the execution of compliance plans, projects, processes, and act as a liaison for the department to both internal and external constituencies. You will also chair or lead accessibility-related committees and working groups, provides training and policy education for faculty and staff, drafts and implements policies, procedures, and initiatives related to ADA and Section 504 compliance. You will be responsible for the disability grievance procedure and serves as the final decision-maker for related appeals.
In addition, the Director provides secondary but integral support to the Title IX and equity functions of the Office of General Counsel and Compliance, assisting where needed in the coordination of investigations, training, policy development, and case management related to discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. You and the Director of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance serve as mutual designees, ensuring continuity of compliance functions and institutional responsiveness when one is unavailable. The role is remote, but meaningful engagement with campus partners is essential. As such, the successful candidate must be willing and able to travel to campus periodically throughout the year.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $85,563.00 - $136,928.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $94,548.00 - $127,918.00.
