We're looking for a Director of Chinese Sales to lead and scale our fastest-growing market segment in the USA.
Crimson's Chinese-speaking families represent one of our highest-value client segments and strongest growth opportunities in the US market. This role will build and lead a high-performing Mandarin-speaking sales team, drive revenue strategy, and establish Crimson as the go-to college admissions partner for Chinese families across America. This is a full-time role that can be worked remotely from any US state or from one of our offices.
What this role is responsible for:
- Drive Chinese sales revenue across all of Crimson Education USA by developing and executing annual sales planning, including revenue forecasting, budget management, and resource allocation for the Chinese sales division
- Lead and support a team of Mandarin speaking sales team members being responsible for their upskilling and making sure they meet their individual sales KPIs. Set their KPIs and manage their performance reviews.
- Conduct your own sales consultations and academic assessments in a professional manner that aligns with the Crimson brand and culture.
- Identify and establish new business partners and other appropriate associations to drive revenue and promote Crimson as the ultimate brand in the college admissions support space in the USA
- Set team revenue targets, develop quarterly forecasts, and track the team's progress using tracking sheets and Salesforce (identifying trends, potential obstacles, and growth opportunities); own budget management and ROI analysis for the division
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to inform and upsell them on new developments within Crimson’s product offering and to generate referrals
- Build one’s personal brand and network as a leader in the field (e.g., education, self-development, entrepreneurship, etc)
- Attend, and where appropriate host or present, at live Crimson Events and on virtual events, once again building brand awareness of Crimson Education amongst the Chinese population in the USA.
- Hire and train new sales consultants
- Work closely with the Chinese marketing and SDR teams to ensure team cohesion and growth
- Any other duties as required by Crimson
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
- Consistently achieve agreed-upon monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets / KPIs
- Conduct regular consultations with leads and design Crimson programs that resolve their specific needs and help them achieve their objectives
- Work with the Chinese Local Area and Digital Marketing Teams to develop/enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in leads and sales
- Engage in outreach activities such as presenting at relevant schools or other partnership events (as well as Crimson seminars)
- Develop strong relationships with clients to drive referrals and upsells
- Ensure that data is diligently and accurately entered/managed within Crimson’s CRM system
- Maintain effective communication with the Accounts team to ensure timely payment of accounts
- Troubleshoot and address customer issues or queries
