Highlights

Lead fundraising initiatives to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts ranging from $35,000 to $1,000,000.

Manage a personal portfolio of 125–150 major gift prospects with 125+ strategic donor meetings annually.

Serve as primary fundraising partner to the Dean and college leadership, integrating them into the development process and preparing them for solicitations.

Develop and deliver compelling philanthropic proposals and presentations that inspire transformational investments.

Collaborate with university advancement partners including Gift Planning, Annual Giving, Prospect Research, and Alumni Affairs to maximize donor impact.

Maintain precise donor records and ensure all fundraising adheres to university policies and ethical standards.

Provide mentorship to junior Major Gifts team members and strategic support to College advisory boards and volunteers.

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in major gift fundraising or related fields; valid driver’s license.

Preferred qualifications: Proven record of securing five- and six-figure gifts, strong public speaking and proposal writing skills, ability to manage multiple projects, graduate degree and/or CFRE preferred.
