JOB SUMMARY
The Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute (HRI) is seeking a fullâtime Events and Communications Coordinator (Administrative Program Support 2). This position will support HRIâs educational, research, and practice initiatives and will be responsible for managing the Instituteâs event programming and communications strategy. The Coordinator reports to HRI's Director of Operations and works closely with HRI staff, joint faculty, and program directors.
The Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute (HRI) at the University of Connecticut is one of the nation's leading academic centers in human rights research, teaching, and outreach. HRI is globally recognized for its educational programming, faculty expertise, and engaged research, and offers an undergraduate major/minor, graduate certificate and master's program in human rights. Faculty combine theoretical and practical expertise on contemporary human rights issues to produce innovative scholarship and prepare students to engage across a spectrum of professions on the most pressing rights issues of our time. Â HRI also works in partnership with communities, policymakers, advocates, businesses, and others to advance a broader culture of human rights in Connecticut and around the world.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time, permanent position located at the Storrs campus with a hybrid work arrangement option, allowing for up to two days per week of remote work.
