Highlights

  • Lead review, negotiation, execution, and administration of complex gift agreements, naming opportunities, and endowed funds.

  • Ensure gifts are administered in accordance with donor intent, federal and state laws, university policies, and best practices.

  • Oversee the University's Distinguished Professors Endowment Trust Fund Program and direct compliance initiatives.

  • Develop strategies to improve accountability, transparency, and stewardship of philanthropic resources.

  • Provide consultation, training, policy development, and compliance reviews related to gift administration.

  • Supervise professional staff and foster a customer-focused team culture.

  • Required bachelor’s degree with related experience; at least 1 year of direct solicitation/fundraising experience if applicable.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), strong analytical and communication skills required.

  • Preferred knowledge includes fundraising principles, IRS philanthropy regulations, CASE guidelines, CRM systems, and PeopleSoft ERP.

  • Work closely with development officers, academic and administrative leaders, University Counsel, affiliated foundations, and external stakeholders.
