Begin, an early learning company with brands including HOMER, codeSpark, and Little Passports has a new opportunity for a Director of Growth Marketing to join our growing team! This role will report to our New York office in a hybrid capacity or can be remote-based in select US locations*.

About Little Passports:
At Little Passports, our mission is to inspire children to learn about the world around them in a fun and engaging way. We deliver innovative educational products directly to homes around the globe, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning among the next generation.

Reporting to our VP of Growth Marketing, the Director of Growth Marketing will be driving our customer acquisition and retention strategies by effectively managing all paid channels for Little Passports. The Director of Growth will be responsible for optimizing Cost Per Visit (CPV) as the key performance metric, ensuring efficient and effective marketing spend that drives business growth.

You will:

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies to enhance visibility, customer acquisition, and growth across all paid channels.
  • Paid Channel Ownership: Own and manage all paid marketing channels, including but not limited to PPC, social media advertising, display, and affiliate marketing. This role would look at the full funnel, from Top Of the Funnel to the Bottom of the Funnel.
  • Performance Optimization: Focus on optimizing the CPV across all campaigns, continuously testing and refining strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with the data/attribution team to understand and leverage customer insights and analytics. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure alignment between creative assets and growth strategies. Manage relationships with both internal teams and external sources to drive growth initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Allocate and manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring investments are aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and the evolving digital landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 
  • 8+ years of proven experience in a similar growth marketing or digital marketing leadership role, preferably in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics, particularly CPV, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience managing paid marketing channels and budgets, with a track record of optimizing campaign performance and achieving growth objectives.
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

This role is not eligible for CO state.

Salary MIN: $150k MAX: $170k . This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location and other relevant factors. We're able to answer any additional questions you may have as you move through the interview process.

The pay range for this role is:

150,000 - 170,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
