As Director of Growth Marketing, you will be charged with delivering a strategic growth marketing matrix that supports our revenue objectives. You will drive the strategic roadmap for, execution of, and optimization of multi-channel campaigns and marketing programs that deliver pipeline, revenue, and growth. This is a player-coach role where you will run your own campaigns and lead a team of marketers focused on a highly aligned growth strategy. You bring a depth of understanding of both the K-12 education market and marketing best practices.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Growth Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive growth marketing strategy aligned to business growth targets and key markets and areas of focus for our revenue organization. Identify and prioritize opportunities to target net new, upsell, cross-sell and expansion customers across the lifecycle. Own the overall campaign roadmap for national, regional, and targeted account-based marketing campaigns, delivering both your own campaigns and leading campaign creation within the team. Create assets and collateral used by sales as necessary.
  • Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate cross functionally both within the Marketing team and across Revenue, Customer Support, Product, and other areas of the organization. Partner closely with our revenue organization to align our campaign and sales strategies, both nationally and across key growth segments. Understand what our sales teams are seeing and what they need to drive growth.
  • Acquisition and Performance Marketing: Lead multi-channel acquisition, retention, and reactivation strategies across our B2B and B2C channels. Monitor and continuously improve key KPIs like CAC, ROAS, and conversion rates. Manage external agency and partner relationships as necessary.
  • Content, SEO & AEO: Continually refine our website and other content assets to support our lead generation, customer engagement, SEO, and AEO goals. Partner closely with the Director of Web and Marketing Automation to support the delivery of content goals for our website and webstore. Partner with subject matter experts internally and externally, including our Professional Learning and Product teams to develop high-quality thought leadership content, utilizing this content into our campaign strategies.
  • Event Strategy: Ensure that our trade show and event strategy is aligned to our target buyers, messaging strategy, and overall growth goals. Support the execution of an annual show plan.
  • Analytics and Experimentation Drive a strong culture of experimentation and analysis in close partnership with Marketing Operations. Ensure that testing, analysis, and optimization are ongoing and continuous processes. Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement cycles.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S.in marketing, education, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years related experience in marketing with 3+ years in growth, performance, or demand generation marketing.
  • Experience in PreK-12 education, preference for experience in early literacy/ELA/writing or Pre-K
  • Deep understanding of paid acquisition channels.
  • Experience utilizing insights to build compelling campaigns and programs.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills for both internal and external partners.
  • Proven leadership presence and exceptional communication skills.
