The Director of Inside Sales leads and manages a team of internal sales representatives and supervisors to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and develop sales strategies. They focus on building a high-performing team, setting clear goals, and improving sales processes. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee key aspects of business operations at the Hoffman Estates facility.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction, tracking sales metrics, and reporting on performance.
  • Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Analyze sales data, forecast revenue, and report results to executive leadership.
  • Identify market opportunities and stay current on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Establish and manage budgets, quotas, and incentive programs
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent.

Knowledge & Experience
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing an inside sales organization, preferably in the education industry.
  • Set the vision and lead the development and implementation of effective sales strategies tailored to the team/market, aligned with company goals
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership experience in an inside sales operation.
  • Experience developing sales reps and supervisors.
