Director of Partner Operations Full Description

Director of Partner Operations
B2B Operations
Hybrid (Austin, Texas, US)

The Role
We are looking for a Director of Partner Operations to lead our Operations team supporting ReUp’s more than 180 college and university partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the entire partner lifecycle—from onboarding and implementation to performance tracking, optimization, and account reporting. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, product) and external partners to ensure seamless execution of account goals.

A successful Director of Partner Operations is process-oriented and has a keen eye for details. They are curious, conscientious, and collaborative, and an eager problem solver. Your team is one of the first points of contact for new clients to ensure a successful launch to the partnership.  You must convey to internal stakeholders important details regarding scope, timelines, and data capabilities for new partner launches, and contribute to finding ways to leverage partner information and the data they share to inform our work and provide strategic recommendations to partners.

After a partnership is successfully launched, your team will continue to influence its success through ongoing management of newly eligible student lists, providing reporting and insights, and troubleshooting issues.

The ideal candidate combines deep operational experience with a strong understanding of client needs, particularly in education technology or higher education settings, and has a proven ability to manage data-heavy workflows and streamline internal processes, all while building and leading teams through change.

What We Do
Founded in 2015, ReUp Education is the only organization that focuses exclusively on helping colleges and universities engage and re-enroll the more than 43 million US residents who have “stopped out” and support them until graduation, through our technology-enabled service. To date, we have re-enrolled nearly 57,000 students and recaptured over $200 million in tuition for our university partners. Today we build regional marketplaces to connect the supply of educational opportunities with the demand for skilled and credentialed workforce professionals.

What You’ll Do
As the Director of Partner Operations, you will oversee the teams responsible for the day-to-day operations of ReUp’s college and university partners, which involves but is not limited to:

  • Support the creation of frequent reports for clients, including annual partnership reviews and ongoing enrollment reporting, translating complex operational data into client-friendly narratives and visualizations
  • Analyze partner data and reporting to generate insights and recommendations for clients
  • Build towards automated data and reporting solutions to support rapid growth

Resource development and client experience
