Company Overview
Director of Private & Religious School Parnterships
This is a remote role and will require 30-50% travel in New York City.
Catapult Learning partners with over 2,100 schools nationwide to provide targeted academic support for K–12 students. With 50 years of experience, our educators deliver small-group instruction, intervention programs, and student support services directly in schools, helping students build skills, gain confidence, and make measurable progress.
Overview
Catapult Learning is seeking a highly relationship-oriented business development professional to support private and religious school services growth. The Director of Private & Religious School Partnerships is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and expanding educational services and product offerings — including tutoring, academic intervention, summer learning, professional development, and mental health services — through federally and state-funded non-public school programs.
The individual in this role will manage a defined portfolio of target districts and non-public school networks within a territory, building relationships with both public school district leaders — who administer funding and contracts — and non-public school leaders who directly receive services.
Because sales cycles in this space can span multiple years, success in this role requires strong relationship management, strategic thinking, persistence, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments over time. The Director of Private & Religious School Partnerships will report to the Territory Vice President and work closely with the territory leadership group to drive growth.

- Identify, prospect, and cultivate new partnership opportunities through outreach, networking, conferences, referrals, and relationship development
- Drive growth of educational services and product offerings, including tutoring, academic intervention, summer learning, professional development, and mental health services for target Districts/schools
- Lead consultative sales conversations that align funding opportunities and educational needs with appropriate services and solutions
- Manage proposal and RFP response process, working with Proposals team and others, for own opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and relationship documentation within CRM systems
- Non public expertise and representation
- Represent the organization at regional meetings, conferences, private school organization gatherings, and education-related events
- Monitor changes in federal and state funding landscapes that may impact non-public school service opportunities
- Internal partnering and collaboration
- Leverage internal advocacy resources, policy expertise, and external lobbying partners, as appropriate, to support relationship development, increase stakeholder awareness, and help advance strategic business development opportunities within target districts and non-public school networks
- Be part of the territory leadership team and support overall territory growth efforts
- Collaborate closely with operational and program teams to support successful transition from sales to implementation

- Starting base salary of $100,000, plus bonus and commission opportunities tied to performance
- Flexible Time Off (FTO) and up to 11 paid company holidays
