Location Requirements: This role is Hybrid to one of our offices: Wayne, PA or Austin, TX.  

Your role on the team:  

The Director, PMO and PS Operations brings prior management experience in a SaaS technology and enterprise delivery. As a member of our Professional Services organization, you will take ownership of enterprise implementations, cross-functional strategic initiatives, services operations strategic initiatives, and driving project management process consistency across our suite of products.  This individual brings experience with setting the strategic vision of the PMO, driving the roadmap for PMO capabilities, general services operations and process experience, and ensuring alignment across the organization. The candidate can think and lead strategically and should have strong business acumen, facilitation, and communication skills to manage the PMO and PS Operations in close collaboration with our delivery practices. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Professional Services, the Director, PMO and PS Operations is responsible for the PMO team and our PS Operations.  

You can expect to:  

  • Leverage our existing PMO Framework, tools and templates and create a strategic roadmap to develop future capabilities drive organizational change.  
  • Capabilities should be in alignment with standard Project Management guidelines and drive value to our clients by aligning customer outcomes to ensuring customer enablement and adoption.  
  • Align services business processes and practices including utilization, resource planning, revenue forecasting, etc.  
  • Explore and implement a variety of best practices and standardized processes to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.  
  • Build a plan and execute against financial targets and project KPIs.  
  • Quality of the work and service provided by all resources within the practice. This covers quality control of the project management deliverables and associated client and team communications aligned with the full life cycle of project initiation, requirements, design, configuration, test, deployment, and project closure.  
  • Ensure standard PMO methodologies are followed and evolve as delivery needs change.  
  • Innovation in project management approaches, tools, and templates.  
  • Document processes, templates, and SOPs and ensure consistent use of those templates and processes across all Frontline projects.  
  • Pro-active communication of project portfolio status to internal stakeholders (milestones, tasks, risks, and issues).  
  • Assist project teams with managing and resolving project risks through team guidance and executive sponsor engagement with clients.  
  • Contribute to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.  
  • Coach, mentor, and retain talent:  
  • Develop and coach team members on their professional and growth goals  
  • Identify and correct performance issues as required  
  • Identify training or development needs across the team  
  • Perform regular 1:1’s with direct reports and lead team meetings  
  • Responsible for performance reviews, ratings, merit & bonus conversations  
  • Responsible for team productivity (utilization) and assignment of projects  

 What you bring to the role (nice-to-haves):  

  • Strong operational knowledge of a Project Management Office and Professional Services Operations.  
  • Ability to understand market, enterprise client delivery and client requirements.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.  
  • Ability to handle escalations for critical functional issues while ensuring highest quality service and delivery.  
  • Coach, mentor, and retain our talent with a ‘one team’ mindset in which success is only achieved through the success of others.  
  • Ability to present information and effectively communicate to peers, team and executive committee.  
  • Possess outcome-based approach with a focus on using data for decision making.  
  • Excellent organization, project management, time management, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and to deliver on detail as well as strategy.  

 This role requires (must-haves):  

  • You have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher.  
  • You have demonstrated success in leading fast growth Service Delivery organization with 10+ years’ experience.  
  • You have worked in client facing enterprise delivery, large scale implementations.  
  • You are successful at managing change with team and with clients.  
  • You have 7+ years leading, managing and growing individuals.  
  • Strong leadership, selling, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.  
  • Strong organization, project management, time management, and communication skills.
