The Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Professional Learning, the Director ensures that services are high-quality, evidence-based, and responsive to partner needs, with a strong focus on out-of-school time (OST) learning.
The Director will collaborate closely with a second Director, Career Programs and the Director, Evaluation Services to ensure consistency and alignment across projects. This role combines people leadership, project management, and partnership development. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who enjoys coaching others, managing grant-funded work, and building meaningful relationships with partners and colleagues.

- Support and coach Education Specialists, encouraging collaboration, reflection, and continuous growth.
- Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of professional learning initiatives for SEAs, schools, professional learning networks, and OST organizations that align with client goals and grant requirements.
- Manage multiple projects with accountability for deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with clients, funders, and collaborators.
- Partner with colleagues across Foundations to ensure alignment, consistency, and continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For
- 5 to 7 years of experience in education, professional learning, or organizational development, including out-of-school time settings and grant-funded project work.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to design, develop, and deliver professional learning that engages and inspires large audiences.
- Proven ability to coach and develop staff, strengthen team capacity, and manage projects with clarity and follow through.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to thrive in collaborative, fast paced environments.
- Comfort using digital tools for collaboration and data tracking, and a commitment to equity and continuous improvement.
- Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and project implementation.
