How can you make an impact?
Our Professional Learning Director leads a team of curriculum specialists within the sales organization to drive revenue growth, support campaigns, and ensure successful customer implementations through strong product knowledge and strategic messaging. It involves developing sales presentations, marketing inputs, and professional development plans while collaborating closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams. The position also focuses on coaching team members, fostering a high-performance culture, and contributing to campaign strategy, customer engagement, and organizational alignment.
 
This role is a remote position requiring up to 70% of travel, and is open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. The ideal candidate should reside in California and be about 1 hour away from a major airport.
 
In this role you will:
  • Lead and manage a team of curriculum specialists to support revenue goals, sales campaigns, and successful customer implementations. 
  • Develop go-to-market sales presentation strategies, including messaging, outlines, and slide decks, supported by deep product knowledge. 
  • Contribute to campaign development by informing marketing collateral, presentation materials, and overall messaging needs. 
  • Design and align professional development plans for school districts, partnering with sales teams to communicate value during contract negotiations and implementation. 
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while supporting scalable staffing solutions (e.g., per diem cadre) to meet campaign demands. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales leadership, campaign strategy, product, and marketing teams to align goals, assess competition, and drive overall sales effectiveness.
 
We're looking for someone with
  • A Bachelor's degre.
  • Bring a minimum of 6 years of proven success in sales, preferably as a sales representative or curriculum specialist. 
  • Cultivate a positive, high-performance team culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and alignment to organizational goals. 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset across teams and stakeholders. 
  • Possess experience delivering presentations to Boards of Education and other senior-level stakeholders.

As this position requires traveling by car, we require candidates to have a valid driver's license with the ability to drive a car in the designated territory.  The pay range for this position is between $107,000 - $150,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan will be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
