The Goizueta Business School is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to lead and manage all aspects of student registration, academic records, and degree certification within a dynamic academic environment. The Director, Registration is responsible for overseeing course scheduling, registration systems, and graduation processes while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and financial aid regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments, including the Registrar’s Office and international programs while supervising staff, improving operational systems and delivering exceptional support to students.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILIES: 
  • Directs the activities associated with the student registration process for a large school or college. 
  • Determines course availability and location and prepares class schedules each semester. 
  • Manages the degree audit process and certifies candidates for graduation in conjunction with the university Registrar's Office. 
  • Manages computer-based information systems associated with registration and records. 
  • Oversees the development of new computing capabilities and ensures the preparation of departmental reports. 
  • Develops registration and drop/add procedures and communicates to staff and students. 
  • Is knowledgeable of financial aid regulations associated with school's curriculum. 
  • Works with the International Student & Scholar Programs office to ensure proper documentation for Emory student abroad students and international students attending Emory. 
  • Coordinates the registration and graduation process with other Emory schools for dual degree programs. 
  • Hires, trains and supervises staff and student employees. 
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • A bachelor's degree in the school's area of specialty or a related field.
  • Five years of experience working with student records. 
  • A working knowledge of student registration and computerized student records information systems.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
