Oakland University is hiring a DREAM Coordinator - Temp. The role leads the university's DREAM Initiative, a prototype student support program for first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students that aims to close the persistence and graduation gap. The coordinator guides two cohorts of about 25 students each through academic, financial, and personal challenges while working with Enrollment Management and campus student support offices.

Highlights
  • Build an individual relationship with each student in the cohorts and create an Individual Student Plan that covers career aspirations and a financial plan for completing a degree.
  • Work with academic advising and real-time Faculty Feedback data to spot emerging problems early and connect students with resources before they fall behind.

  • Bring a bachelor's degree and four years of project management experience, including business process mapping with tools such as Visio and managing projects at mid-size or large higher education institutions.
  • Temporary, full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., running November 12 to November 27, 2026, at $32 per hour with no benefits.
